Join us for Stitch & Bitch this Thursday, July 21st, from 6-8:30 pm.  Bring your current project and enjoy food & wine and relax with your fellow knitters.  Remember, S&B nights are social nights so if you have a project you need assistance on, please call us to schedule a separate time when we can sit down and help you.

Another of our new pattern lines, Yarn Cocktails, has arrived.  These cute patterns are named after favorite drinks, have good looking skill-builder projects, and have their namesake drink recipe on the back!  My favorites are the Cosmopolitan (basic garter stitch with not-so-basic square holes) and the Scotch & Soda (a new take on the classic cabled scarf).

New handpaints are gradually coming in, and they are gorgeous!

We received a small shipment from Blue Heron, with both Cotton Woven Ribbon and Cotton Rayon Seed yarns.  Cotton Woven Ribbon looks like t-shirt material, and is a soft matte finish.  Cotton Rayon Seed has great shine and drape, and makes gorgeous scarves and shawls!

We also received some new yarn from Schaeffer, meet Blossom, a buttery soft mohair loop yarn:

One skein of Blossom will make a generous scarf.  We also received a bit more Laurel, Schaeffer's worsted cotton.

I'll be keeping you posted as more new fall yarns arrive!
