We've received more shipments of one of our favorite yarn brands over the last two weeks, the amazing technicolor Noro.  We have beautiful new shades of Iro, a silk/wool chunky tweed:

And both gorgeous new colors and restock of some of last year's favorites in Silk Garden:

The new Knitty has a clever scarf pattern using Silk Garden, the Edgar; it's a neat twist on the mitered square technique.  A full-length scarf uses just two balls of Silk Garden. 

We also have in stock both of the new Noro pattern books for this season, by Jane Ellison and Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton.

This week also brought in a small Lantern Moon shipment, which contained these elegant silk floral totes:

These are the same size and shape of the Polka Dot totes, but have rich floral embroidery and beadwork on both front and back:

Our November class schedule is up on the classes & events page.  We have two more handspinning classes and a new laceknitting group!  Our mini-sweater class is back to prepare you for sweater knitting, and we have a new slip stitch colorwork class.

Call the shop to register, classes have been filling quickly!

Hey everyone!

Join us for our next Stitch & Bitch, this Thursday, October 13th, from 6-8:30pm.  Bring your current project and join us for knitting, snacks, wine, and relaxation.  Not to mention all of the amazing new yarns!

Remember, S&B nights are social nights, so if you have a specific project you need to bring in for assistance, please call us to schedule a separate time.  If you run into a little snag on your knitting while your at S&B, you'll be surrounded by many friendly knitters glad to offer some advice.

Have you gotten your punchard yet?

Our "Knit Addict" punchcards went out in the mail last week, so put your in your wallet or purse (before you forget!)  and bring it in to get punched on your next visit.  Fill it up with every purchase and get $20 toward your next purchase!  Didn't get one in the mail?  Ask when you come in, we always have extras!
