Join us for Stitch & Bitch, this Thursday, October 26th, from 6 to 8:30pm. Bring your knitting and relax with drinks, snacks, and conversation. As always, S&B nights are not teaching nights, so if you have a specific project that you need assistance with, please call us to schedule a separate time.

Need to throw together a last-minute Halloween costume?  Make this awesome pirate tricorn hat!

You can omit the eyelash for a more historical looking hat.  It's a quick knit on size 13's then felted, so you can make one this weekend!  I finished mine and I love it so much I want to wear it everyday, not just Halloween! 

Speaking of Halloween, don't forget we'll be closing at 5 pm this Tuesday!  I'll be dressing up that day (pirate, of course!), so if you're so inclined, wear your costume and come by the shop and visit!  Of course we'll have candy!

17 October 06 - 23:04Yay! New Sweater!

Here's the preview for the next issue of Interweave Knits, with my new sweater design. Since I don't always get my first choice in my yarn for magazine projects, this sweater was done in a Plymouth yarn, but I'll be stocking kits in a lovely springy-soft alpaca blend for the Refined Raglan. I even found the same shade of orange, yay! This issue should be out in early November.

I'm going to start mine soon! I can't wait!
